Taylor Swift is really beginning to annoy me, or rather, her overexposure is.

A few of her songs I like, and yeah, Kanye West interrupted her and that was really mean and everything, but really, she is not that good.

Honestly, getting interrupted was probably the best thing that could have happened to her. She's racking up left and right at every possible awards show, will probably never lose anything she's nominated for ever again, and to the whole world she can do no wrong no matter what and anybody who doesn't think she is just great is automatically a hateful, horrible, evil person. The incident with Kanye was a blessing, much like Jennifer Aniston getting cheated on was a blessing.

Welcome to sainthood, you mediocre ass talents, you!

I have so much to say, but always let so much time go by until it's impossible to write. I'll try to do better about posting real entries!

I am super addicted to the Harry Potter books, guys. Like, super, big time fucking addicted. I started them a couple days ago and am already somewhere in the third book (don't remember what page).

Unlike Twilight, I totally get the hype with this. I mean, the Twilight books were fun and everything, but it wasn't a fraction of what people made it out to be. Maybe I'm not enough of a plain, boring, thoughtless everygirl to relate to the godawful narrating heroine, I don't know, but Stephenie Meyer is really kind of a super shitty author. The premise of the story was great, but she took a gigantic crap right on it and turned it into her lameass Mary Sue fanfic way of vindicating her high school experience instead of writing what really could have been an epic saga and a truly timeless romantic tale (even though the super hardcore Twitards already think it is). I like Twilight fanfics better than the books themselves. Meyer created some great characters (not Bella!), but unfortunately, was too driven by her own desire to be in the story. I'm glad some (actually, very many) people out there have the exact same opinion as I do on it and understand that the other characters were way better than Bella and also understood how events should have been.

What really gets me about the Harry Potter series is that I actually root for the good guys and dislike the bad guys. That hardly ever happens. I hardly ever actually root for the bad guy, but I definitely hardly ever like the characters that the authors intend people to like. For instance, in the Twilight series, even before Meyer gave Rosalie the miniscule sliver of redemption that she did (even though it came at the price of immature blonde joke after immature blonde joke, so maybe she really didn't give her any after all), I LOVED her. She is far and away the best, most interesting, and goddamn surely the strongest female character in the series; she was MY heroine, even though we were supposed to see her as the Cullen family bitch and not like her. I just wanted Bella to die, the more gruesomely the better.

I mean, I'm still a Twitard. I'll go see the movies and get all pumped and whatnot; and I LOVE some of the fanfics. I just kinda really strongly dislike Stephenie Meyer's lame ass and her self insert character, and I just kinda love J.K. Rowling and her writing. I actually like and dislike the characters that I am supposed to like and dislike; I'm not used to this!

Why do I never write anymore?

Well, I know why. I just.....never feel like it. Some things are worth writing about, some things aren't. I feel like I'm wasting time just writing this. I sort of feel like I'm not here, there or anywhere right now. Wish I could shake the feeling.
